Every month WWE has pay per views, which is a three hour long show of just wrestling that the company has been building up over a few weeks. There are several pay per views and usually one occurs each month. The pay per views are: January it is the Royal Rumble; February it is No Way Out; Late March/Early April it is WrestleMania; April it is Backlash; May it is Judgment Day; June it is One Night Stand and Night of Champions; July it is The Great American Bash; August it is SummerSlam; September it is Unforgiven; October is No Mercy and Cyber Sunday; November is Survivor Series; and December is Armageddon.
The major pay per views are the Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series; just because they are the longest running events. WrestleMania is considered the "Grandaddy of Them All." It is the largest and longest running of all major wrestling events. Royal Rumble has a main event featuring a thirty man battle royal; whoever does not go over the top rope and is last man standing goes for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Survivor Series wrestling event is usually for tag-team elimination wrestling or formation of teams competing against other teams, which they all try to eliminate each other. SummerSlam is noted for being the second biggest pay per view event after WrestleMania; sometimes it is known as the "Biggest Blockbuster of the Summer."
